About Serial Killers Unmasked

The Story Behind
Serial Killers Unmasked

Our Story

Serial Killers Unmasked was created to offer audiences a thoughtful exploration of some of Britain's most dangerous and shocking crimes and gain an insight into the minds of the murderers involved.

With a former Scotland Yard DCI guiding the narrative, we commit to authenticity, respect for victims, and a compelling theatrical experience that educates and captivates.

Meet The Team

Serial Killers Unmasked is a collaboration between a legendary show promoter, a former Scotland Yard DCI & criminal psychologist, a BBC presenter of 35 years and a radio and theatre producer.

Alan Goldsmith began promoting music events in the 60s.  He's worked with the biggest names in the business and is excited to be bringing a true crime experience to the stage.

Ian Wyatt has produced and presented radio programmes for the BBC for over 30 years.  He loves using sound and image to bring stories to life on stage.

Steve Gaskin

With decades of experience serving as a Detective Chief Inspector at Scotland Yard Steve Gaskin will share his professional insight and real world experience of working at the highest levels of true crime.

A trained criminal psychologist, Steve offers a rare perspective on the relationship between unlawful behaviour, investigative practice, and human motivation.

Hear about the high profile serial killings he’s investigated and the surprising results when he reopened the 'Playboy Bunny Club Murders' cold case.

Steve is regularly seen as a guest commentator on TV crime shows and has been an advisor for productions including the BBC’s Silent Witness

Steve Scruton

Steve's broadcasting career began 50 years ago when he first appeared behind the mic in 1976 as a volunteer for his local hospital radio station.

After time at several commercial stations, he went on to work for the BBC presenting the Afternoon Show on BBC Essex for 22 years.  He has so far clocked up neary four decades with the BBC and has interviewed over 20,000 guests from Rod Stewart to an East End gansgter who made him a surprising offer.

Away from the studio, Steve loves hosting stage events and has worked with many big names from the world of music and performance.

In conversation with Steve Gaskin, he'll tease out the stories and ask the questions that matter most.
